#How does Brainko mix questions in games?

After certain moves in the game, the student gets a question (from the teacher's selected questions).

The student needs to answer correctly to progress in the game. See the game examples below for more info.

#How to create a new game?

  • Create a regular lesson and add some questions.
  • Click the "settings" wheel next to the lesson name, change the lesson type to Game, and pick any game!

#Which game should I pick?

It doesn't matter which game you choose - your class will have fun! Brainko handles all the logistics. We recommend trying all games.

If you would like to dig deep and understand the differences between the games, the games table above will help you understand some intricacies.

#How does Brainko divide the students into teams?

Brainko handles the team split automatically.

#What happens if the number of students in my class doesn't perfectly divide the number of players per game board?

Don't worry. Brainko handles all use-cases for you behind the scenes.

For example:

  • If you have 10 students and you selected the Speed Challenge game, the first 8 students will play in 2 vs. 2 format, while the last two players (9th and 10th) will play against each other (1 vs. 1).
  • If you have 9 students, the last student who joins the game will play alone this time; or the teacher could join the game and play with them!

#For which ages are the games suitable?

Brainko games are suitable for all ages from middle school up to university.

That's because the games are based on the questions from your lesson, and the nature of most games is multiplayer or team vs. team competition, which is fun for all ages.
